International Young Performers Tour

In our one "live" exchange program, each year, we underwrite the costs of bringing over talented youngsters from one of our overseas partner schools to meet with and perform for children and students in our area. The performances feature the youngsters sharing their culture through music, song and/or dance.

Besides being entertained, we want our young audiences to get an insider's feel for the culture of the performers. Thus, each show leads off with a short student-narrated 'Up Close and Personal" video which takes the audience "back home" to see the schools, homes, and rehearsals of the performers.

Another important component of pur International Young Performers' Tour is the interaction between the performers and their American Peers. Each group gives "hands-on" and "feet-on" workships, visits classrooms. share meals, and stays in the homes of local families.
