Discovering and Exploring Values - a Global Youth Dialogue
In 2004-5, Creative Connections, The Institute for Global Ethics, and Ashoka, Innovators for the Public, facilitated a second year of this exciting ethics-based youth dialogue. This program engaged over 100 students and young people from Ashoka-fellow founded groups in India, Colombia, Poland, South Africa, and the USA in a lively exploration of the ethical issues found in their society and in their world. The aim of the dialogue was to help these youngsters gain a better understanding of what it means to bring an ethical lens to their concerns and feel empowered to do something about them - that is to help bring about change.
